Arooba is passionate about helping people reach their full potential and live their most fulfilling lives. She provides a holistic approach and has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in therapeutic and case management roles in the community and educational settings. Arooba uses a culturally sensitive approach, which includes a variety of therapeutic modalities in keeping with current evidence-based practices. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi and conversational in Punjabi. Arooba has a warm personality and offers an approachable and non-judgmental space for her clients. Her clinical modalities include: Brief and Solution-Focused Interventions, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including Dialectical Behavioural Therapy), Crisis Intervention, Cultural Safety Models, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.
Arooba holds a Master of Social Work, University of Toronto and Honours Bachelor of Social Work from York University.
