Cassandra has years of experience working in mental health, in both front-line work and research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and later pursed schooling in visual arts. Throughout her academic experiences, she learned the importance of wellness and drew the connection between self-care and resiliency. Cassandra's work as a BounceBack Coach with the Canadian Mental Health Association further solidified her true passion for helping others grow and progress to better their mental health. She also has had the opportunity to partner with the Women’s College Hospital to measure the effectiveness of anxiety treatments on cancer survivors. Cassandra enjoys providing great client service, while finding ways to challenge the standard delivery of healthcare to inspire essential improvements in the way we access it.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find her on the soccer field, in her studio or painting on the dock of whichever friend’s cottage opens up first in the summer.
