Dr. Zhao completed a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at York University and is a registered member of The College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has worked in a variety of settings including the Women’s Inpatient Unit and the Complex Care and Recovery Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the Adult Eating Disorders Program at North York General Hospital, and the York University’s Psychology Clinic. She is also in private practice at The Clinic on Dupont.In addition to her clinical work, Wendy has authored several academic publications and presented at psychology conferences throughout Canada and the United States. Her research focuses on mental health stigma and reducing barriers to help-seeking, which regularly informs her clinical practice.
