Aisha Applewhaite is a highly skilled therapist and hospital-based Registered Social Worker. She has extensive experience in the areas of crisis, acute and chronic suicidality, self-harm behaviour, and serious and pervasive mental illness including depression, anxiety and personality disorders. Aisha assists patients and clients with many issues including impulsive behaviour, feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope, trouble dealing with emotions, relationship struggles and distorted cognitive patterns. Aisha works with adults, teens, couples and families in both community and hospital settings. She creates a space where you can feel comfortable and free of judgement. Aisha prides herself on partnering with patients and clients to engage in goal driven, best-practice treatment aimed at creating a harmonized life that is worth living and grounded in connection, resiliency, balance and peace.
