Elsia is a Registered Social Worker with close to 20 years' experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has a special interest and advanced training in prenatal and postpartum care and has supported many new moms with their transition into parenthood. Using a client-centered approach, she supports clients with developing insight, improving self-esteem and building resiliency. Elsia draws upon various evidence-based modalities, including trauma-informed therapies, emotion-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy. Her style is warm and informal, and she provides realistic tools that inspire growth and change.
