Elsia is a Registered Social Worker with close to 20 years' experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She has a special interest and advanced training in prenatal and postpartum care and has supported many new moms with their transition into parenthood. Using a client-centered approach, she supports clients with developing insight, improving self-esteem and building resiliency. Elsia draws upon various evidence-based modalities, including trauma-informed therapies, emotion-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioural therapy. Her style is warm and informal, and she provides realistic tools that inspire growth and change.

"I believe that therapy can help us work through obstacles that prevent us from living fully, especially when it is grounded in an empathetic and non-judgmental relationship."
