Mary Soliman
Registered Psychotherapist, RP

Mary is a Registered Psychotherapist who offers evidence-based individual and couple counseling and psychotherapy services in both English and Arabic. Placing significant emphasis on therapeutic alliance, she operates from a non-judgmental, trauma informed stance and paces the work at a rate that aligns with client goals. Having had training in a number of different modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Narrative Therapy), she incorporates different styles based on client need. Mary has had extensive experience working with folks within the 18-35 age range, helping them navigate relationships, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem related concerns, among other issues.

I recognize that each individual’s lived experience is unique; my aim is to empower folks to explore their narratives, speak their truth, and utilize this knowledge to develop skills that facilitate living life contently. As Jon Kabat Zinn so aptly states “you can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."
