Michel is a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker whose work is informed by a number of research-validated approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and brief psychoanalysis. She works with clients presenting with a number of issues including, grief and loss, life transitions, depression and anxiety, and the repercussions of trauma. In addition to her private practice, Michel also trains other mental health care professionals for frontline skills in the areas of trauma, substance abuse, and grounding techniques.
