Sabrina is a dedicated therapist with 15 years experience in counselling, crisis intervention and case management. She has worked in various organizations and populations over the span of her career. Sabrina holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Family and Social Relations, Social Work and a Masters of Social Work all from the University of Windsor.
Sabrina is one of the few clinicians trained in a visual therapy tool known as the Life Story Board TM and trains other professionals. She offers models of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, CBT for Insomnia and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). In working with Children and Families, Sabrina uses play therapy techniques trained by the Canadian Association for Play Therapy.
In her spare time, Sabrina volunteers as a Board of Directors for a local food bank addressing poverty and food insecurity. She enjoys practicing mindfulness, being outdoors and painting.
