Wala'a Farahat
Registered Psychotherapist, RP

Wala’a Farahat is a Registered Psychotherapist who works with adults, youth and children. She is a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, as well as the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Wala’a currently works in community settings as a brief therapy walk-in therapist, and in private practice as a therapist, trainer and researcher. She believes in providing a safe non-judgmental environment that acknowledges the individual, their unique experiences, culture, skills, and values as a whole. Her approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and incorporates Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She also draws from various therapeutic techniques to ensure her services are tailored to the client’s needs.

Wala’a also has extensive experience working with diverse clients including newcomers and refugees. She provides services in English and Arabic
