DBT Advanced Skills Roundtable

4 people working around the mechanics of a human brain

Do you have experience with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)?

Have you previously learned DBT skills within a group or individual session and feel you could use some ongoing support applying DBT skills to your daily life in a way that works for you?  If so, the DBT Advanced Skills Roundtable may be the right next step for you.

What is it

This program offers ongoing support and accountability to your DBT learning journey, while also connecting you with a community of peers who are coping with similar situations and issues.

Layla’s DBT Advanced Skills Roundtables provide you with access to reliable and relatable DBT Skills content on the Layla platform, complemented by weekly meetings facilitated by a dedicated Layla therapist. Our goal is to support you in increasing your comfort level in integrating DBT skills within your daily life. The program content ranges from short videos, audio, exercises, and handouts developed by Layla’s DBT therapists.

Each week, the session will open with a mindfulness exercise and then shift to a discussion focused on the DBT core skill of the week. Through sharing and mutual learning, participants will enhance their knowledge and understanding of DBT core skills. You and your peers will be in a safe and supportive space to share the successes and struggles of DBT skills application. You will receive timely feedback, validation and support from the facilitator as well as your peers to deepen your understanding of DBT skills and application.

The program is open to residents of Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia.
