Community partnership highlights
Supporting Volunteer Well-Being

CivicAction is a non-profit that brings together leaders to address key social and economic issues in the GTHA, including supporting community well-being. After receiving dedicated well-being funding, they partnered with Layla to provide up to 12 therapy sessions their volunteer cohorts.
Creating Mental Health Pathways

Covenant House Toronto supports youth facing homelessness or trafficking, and through its Creating Pathways program, Layla helped connect 18–26-year-olds to therapy. This pilot program took a housing-first approach and included funding that encourages mental health support alongside housing and education.
Supporting Veterinary Mental Health (Ended)

Layla partnered with the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association to help mental health providers better understand the unique stressors of veterinary work. Together, they delivered a full-day workshop focused on improving communication, boundaries, and emotional regulation for veterinary professionals.
