Our commitment to quality care

We’re committed to delivering safe, thoughtful, and high-quality mental health care experiences. That includes protecting privacy, working with a trusted community of licensed therapists, and collaborating with primary care providers to support connected and continuous care.
  • Our therapists are registered clinicians in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia. Their clinical qualifications include: RSW, RP, RCT (NS), RCC (BC), C.Psych, or C.Psych.Assoc.
  • Layla's community of over 500 therapists have been carefully vetted through arigorous recruitment and onboarding process. Only 20% of therapists who apply are accepted into our community.
  • Therapists are required to have at least a Masters-level (or equivalent) training in Social Work (Clinical Focus), Clinical/Counselling Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or a related field from a reputable institution.
  • Before joining our community, therapists are required to have a minimum of 1,000 hours post-graduate clinical experience (community or private practice)

Client experience is a top priority at Layla. We actively gather feedback and have clear processes in place to address concerns and respond quickly, thoughtfully, and with care. We also maintain strong safeguards to protect your personal information and your privacy.

If coordination with your primary care provider would be helpful, our Care Team can guide you through the process and make it easy.

Coordinating with primary care can be helpful for patients who consent to sharing relevant updates to support with treatment planning.

Because trust is essential to effective care, we prioritize regulation, privacy, and accountability in everything we do.

Layla operates in compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Client information is handled with strict safeguards, and personal health information is stored securely using industry-standard data protection practices.
