Jennifer is a Toronto-based trauma therapist who specializes in processing past experiences using an evidence-based therapy called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She provides comprehensive assessment and treatment to people across the lifespan who are struggling with experiences of single-incident or developmental trauma and symptoms of dissociation. Clients who work with Jennifer can expect to find improvement in managing overwhelming emotions, explore a healthy relationship with the self, and find more connection or learn to set boundaries in relationships. Jennifer works from an attachment perspective, which recognizes that people are fundamentally shaped by our closest relationships. She is interested in how people’s histories have influenced them, and how people can shift away from habitual patterns that are no longer serving them. She utilizes her understanding of child and adolescent attachment to help adults process relational difficulties and move forward with their relationships in a meaningful way.
